As an editor and copywriter for various creative outlets, I have helped marketing and creative agencies create unique ad and advertorial content for multiple partners, brands, and sponsors.

My work includes back cover magazine advertisements, SEO writing, food and drink serial features, sports coverage, and an international alcohol brand’s slogan.

FILTER MAGAZINE INSPIRATION SERIES

I pitched artists and produced photo and video shoots to create an advertorial series for Converse about musicians' non-musical inspirations.

I also wrote all copy for the back cover and interior ad spreads.

Highlights include Phantogram, YACHT, Hanni El Khatib, and TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe.

FLOOD MAGAZINE "DRINKS WITH" SERIES

As editor-in-chief of Flood Magazine, I helped conceive and execute a serial advertorial feature called "Drinks With." The quarterly column highlighted exciting libations chosen exclusively by a unique bar and bartender with whom Flood's agency, Anthemic, had partnered. Highlighted establishments included Ace Hotel New Orleans; Geraldine's at Hotel Van Zandt, Austin; Peche + Isla, Austin; and Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.

I was hired by LA's BV Agency to cover The Schlitz Bouts, a one-of-a-kind old-timey boxing event held at the prestigious Hollywood Athletic Club, for At Large Magazine and the Schlitz Brewing Company. The branded advertorial ran in At Large's print and web editions.




TY KU SAKE

SLOGAN + NATIONAL TV COMMERCIAL

Through my work with the Filter Creative Group, I wrote the company slogan for the international TY KU sake brand: "Share On." I also helped concept and storyboard the brand's first national TV commercial, starring brand spokesperson and partner CeeLo Green. The campaign was covered by The New York Times among other outlets.
